HelloFresh – Outside-In Marketing Deep Dive

In our 12th Fireside Chat we took a closer look at the German startup “HelloFresh”. They deliver cooking supplies to your home including the corresponding recipes. Only recently it was announced that they have very successfully acquired customers in Q1 2020. We looked at potential success measures in marketing and took a close look at their marketing channels.

With the help of Google Trends, the Facebook Ad Library and SemRush, we got an idea if and which changes HelloFresh has made in online marketing.

On the basis of our “Outside-in” analysis, we got a feeling for where the success of the last months comes from.


User behaviour and customer target groups during COBID-19- 4 new consumer types

In the second part of our video, we looked at four different types of consumers that have supposedly emerged from the market through COVID-19.

Divided into “Binge-Capism”, “Eventification”, “Ego-Tivity” and “New Solidariry” we get to the bottom of the user segmentation. We show how the users differ and how you can gain an advantage in marketing.
